OUR STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Jokamamo Textiles is a small, independent hand-dyed yarn company run by Marianne Bos in Sydney,NSW, Australia
 
She comes from a long line of crafters, with her mother being an expert sewer and knitter. This instilled in her a love of the textile arts which she then passed onto her own children. Having dabbled in the dyeing of fabrics first, she moved on to the dyeing of yarns and loved it! Yarn dyeing has been her main passion and focus since 2015.

 Our hand dyed yarns are selection of merino, silk, cashmere and BFL and the bold colours are inspired by the places our founder has lived in New Zealand, Asia and now in Australia. 

 

Each hand dyed skein is unique in its own way and brings an element of mystique to your project. Our hand made project bags are made using the finest cottons and are the perfect accompaniment for your boutique yarn.
