For best results we always recommend gently hand-washing your finished hand-dyed projects with wool wash or a mild detergent in cool water.

Gently press out any excess water in a towel and then lay your project out flat to dry in the shade.

Due to the nature of hand dyed yarns every skein will be unique, even when dyed in the same dye lot.

We recommend alternating skeins when knitting larger projects or garments, to help to break up any potential pooling and even out any differences in colours between skeins.

We also recommend purchasing enough skeins for larger projects at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye session, as colour intensity can vary from batch to batch.

Yes, we will happily cake your yarn at no additional cost, so you can start knitting from your skeins as soon as they arrive.
